    Subtle Suffering

April 20, 2021 / Comments Off on Subtle Suffering

You may never be called upon to suffer physically because you are a believer in Jesus Christ. However, there is more to suffering than physical pain; there is more to persecution than being put in chains. If we are followers of Jesus Christ, who are not compromising with the sinful ways of the world,… The post Subtle Suffering appeared first on FaithGateway.

Their pediatrician had dismissed… The post Praying for Physical Health, Safety, and Security for Your Children appeared first on FaithGateway.

    Be Before You Do

April 19, 2021 / Comments Off on Be Before You Do

Too many followers of Jesus are chronically overextended and doing more for Jesus than their inner life with him can sustain. They have too much to do in too little time and say a default yes to requests and opportunities without carefully discerning God’s will. Overloaded and depleted constitute “normal” for their lives. *… The post Be Before You Do appeared first on FaithGateway.

    Mark: The Invitation

April 18, 2021 / Comments Off on Mark: The Invitation

Mark 1:1-3:6 In the opening chapters of Mark, we see the meteoric rise of Jesus. We then witness conflict when the religious leaders decide they do not like what Jesus is teaching and how the crowds are drawn to Him. Jesus is helping the people of His day understand who He is and what He… The post Mark: The Invitation appeared first on FaithGateway.
