Jason Gray has announced on his social media that his son Jacob’s cancer has returned. Jacob was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in 2019 and had been in remission after receiving treatment. A recent biopsy of a tumor in his eye confirmed that the cancer had returned. With the cancer having progressed faster than expected, Jacob will undergo various treatments with the hope that one will slow the cancer so that he is eligible for a stem cell transplant. With Jacob being unable to work, Jason has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with monthly bills and medical expenses. Jason’s goal is to raise $22,000 to help cover…

Lauren Daigle Co-Hosts CMA Country Christmas With Country Star Jordan Davis
Contemporary Christian artist Lauren Daigle co-hosted this year’s CMA Country Christmas holiday special–which aired on ABC December 2–alongside Country music star Jordan Davis. The annual holiday television special features performances of classic Christmas carols by Country music’s top artists, and often features Christian and Gospel artists as well. At this year’s event, both themes of classic holiday fun and themes of faith were present on the stage. Co-host Lauren Daigle delivered a festive, Jazz-inspired medley accompanied by the Preservation Band Jazz Orchestra, similar in style to her 2016 Christmas album Behold. Parker McCollum sang “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town.” Right alongside the lighthearted holiday classics we all know and…

Tasha Layton Drops the Ultimate Retro Christmas Video
Tasha Layton is officially extending Christmas season, and we’re not mad about it. Her new music video for “Christmas All Year Long” feels like someone wrapped up all our nostalgic childhood specials, sprinkled a little glitter on top, with a twist of modern technology. It’s cozy. It’s cute. It’s clever. And it is very, very Tasha. The video leans all the way into that classic stop-motion aesthetic, the kind that instantly transports you back to footie pajamas and hot cocoa, but this time with crisp color, quick cuts, and a shine that only modern tools can deliver. They used AI-assisted technology to enhance the handmade, storybook charm without losing any of the…

Why Phil Wickham Reimagined ‘Awesome God’ — Exclusive Interview
I’ll be honest—when I first saw Phil Wickham was taking on the Number #1 Contemporary Christian Song of all time, Awesome God, I flinched a little. There are certain songs in Christian music you just don’t touch. They’re sacred ground. Awesome God is one of them. It’s stitched into the DNA of every youth group kid who grew up in the 80s and 90s belting it out with arms raised and pretending to remember all the words of the verses. So when I heard Wickham, one of the biggest names in modern worship, was daring to rework it, I braced for impact. At first glance you may hear a glossy remake with brand…

Soaking in Jesus This Christmas
There’s an issue. My Christmas tree is not soaking up water. So I got on my knees to add more water. But, still, it wouldn’t soak up. What is wrong with it? I I know the issue, though — when I bought the tree — it didn’t get a “fresh cut”. Without a cut, there is not a fresh soaking of water… Without a cut, the base is hard and closed up… Without a cut, there is no life to the branches… Without a cut, the tree is not full of life but is dry and in need. Wow, I thought. I relate to this tree. Without the cuts of…
