January 29, 2021 / Comments Off on Not Doing So Good?

    Healing Is a Process

January 28, 2021 / Comments Off on Healing Is a Process

God Stopped for Her The closest communion with God comes, I believe, through the sacrament of tears. Just as grapes are crushed to make wine and grain to make bread, so the elements of this sacrament come from the crushing experiences of life. ~ Ken Gire, Windows of the Soul Aaron was Gail’s only son,… The post Healing Is a Process appeared first on FaithGateway.

Editor’s note: Bunmi is deeply honest with God. She’s funny and poignant. In these often short and sweet, funny, heart-felt, sometimes sad or angry prayers you’ll feel like you’ve met a friend who gets it. * Dear God, I know you do a lot. The Leadership Genius of Jesus

January 27, 2021 / Comments Off on The Leadership Genius of Jesus

He bullied people when he should have asked nicely. He whispered when he should have screamed. He delegated poorly, and then… The post The Leadership Genius of Jesus appeared first on FaithGateway.

    Songs of Deliverance

January 26, 2021 / Comments Off on Songs of Deliverance

Editor’s note: Some books inspire, some instruct, some come alongside to say “me too”, and some are just fun to read. This one, Good Apple,  is a little bit of all-of-the-above. Enjoy this far too brief excerpt. * When I get to Heaven, right after I take inventory of which Jewish relatives were saved… The post Songs of Deliverance appeared first on FaithGateway.

January 25, 2021 / Comments Off on Are You Painting Your Masterpiece with My Pain?

Honest Prayers for The Darkest Times Dear God, I was making a list of things I know for sure, but when I went to write “God loves me,” I couldn’t — it felt like a lie.
