The New Vertical Series Where Christian Artists Have Exactly One Floor to Convince Amanda Sekulow of Their Hot Takes! CCM Magazine’s new short-form vertical video series traps artists inside an elevator with CCM co-editor Amanda Sekulow and gives them a one floor ride to defend a completely unhinged hot take. Check out our slate of episodes: Disney Adult Katy Nichole vs. Childhood Trauma Katy Nichole attempts the impossible: convincing Amanda that Disney movies are not emotional damage factories. GRAMMY-winning rock band Switchfoot wrestles with tension and uncertainty in their new single “Absolution,” out now on all streaming platforms. Off their highly anticipated forthcoming album Forever Now, due June 26, the song serves as a cry of the postmodern crisis a jarring juxtaposition of an upbeat, catchy melody colliding with a lyric that is deadly earnest. Q2 2026 Album to Be Released Friday
Author Douglas McKelvey and Jon Lowry, bassist from the band Unspoken, team up again to release Q2 2026, a brand new ten-song album collection based on McKelvey’s new best-selling book series Every Moment Holy, which will be available on streaming platforms on May 29. This is their second full-length album release after they launched Every Moment Holy Prayer Songs, a 20-song double-length album this past January. Disney World, Jimmy Buffett… and Amy Grant? Somehow, Yes.
If you’ve visited Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Walt Disney World lately, there’s a good chance you’ve heard the voice of Mac McAnally. If you spent any time around a Jimmy Buffett show, you’ve definitely heard him there too, as a longtime member of Coral Reefer Band. Oh, and casually, he’s also a 10-time CMA Musician of the Year winner and a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. And now, somehow perfectly fitting into that résumé, McAnally is also the producer behind Amy Grant’s deeply personal new album The Me That Remains. Honestly, after talking with him, it makes complete sense. McAnally lights up the second Amy’s name comes up. Before they ever worked…

David Pollack: Faith, Football, and Life After ESPN
When I got the chance to sit down with David Pollack to talk about his new book, Every Day Counts, I expected football stories. I expected ESPN stories. I expected some inspiration. What I didn’t expect was how much of the conversation centered around loss, rebuilding, and faith discovered later in life. The surprising thing about Every Day Counts is that while it absolutely delivers for football fans, especially anyone nostalgic for that era of SEC football, it’s also deeply personal. Pollack laughed while explaining that this wasn’t a vanity project celebrating his football career. Watch the full interview below: “This is not a book to celebrate my football…

New Documentary Asks: Are UFOs Spiritual Warfare?
There are some interviews that feel like promotion, and then there are conversations that linger in your head long after the cameras stop rolling. Sitting down with Billy Hallowell to talk about his new documentary Investigating the Supernatural: Angels & Demons was one of those moments. Billy, who has spent decades in journalism and media, admitted that diving into stories about demons and spiritual warfare initially terrified him. He even walked away from an early book deal because the subject matter felt too heavy. “I was so freaked out that I said no,” he told me. But eventually the calling kept returning. Watch The Full Interview: What makes the…

When You Brace for the Worst
Walking outside, my body settled into a rhythm and my mind trailed off into prayer that likely sounded like, “God help me today… God lead me in my ways…” But then I heard something. Something coming at me. A dog, running at full speed. Behind me. It was coming, fast. Mentally, I braced myself for impact. I was about to go down. My heart beat a million miles an hour, my head wanted to duck for cover, my face contorted and tightened for impact…and then, the dog came and stopped alongside me. It looked at me, almost asking, “Will you pet me?” I exhaled. I was okay. The owner screamed…
