Today on social media, Danny Gokey announced that he will be heading out on the road this fall with Colton Dixon for the Stand In Faith Tour. “I can’t wait to see your smiling faces & finally share music from my new album Jesus People, along with favorites that you know and love,” Danny shared. “It’s a brand new show, and we’re gonna have a blast!” Pre-sale tickets will go on sale Friday, July 30. Fit For A King and August Burns Red Collaborate on New EP
Metalcore bands Fit For A King and August Burns Red have collaborated on a new 4-song EP titled Guardians of The Path. The name is a play on words based on the titles of both of the bands’ previous albums. Fit For A King’s The Path and August Burns Red’s Guardian. Vocalists Jake Luhrs (August Burns Red) and Ryan Kirby (Fit For A King) trade places on the EP, each covering two favorites from the other’s catalog of songs. Phinehas Announces Upcoming Album
Christian metalcore band Phinehas recently announced their fifth studio album. The album will be titled The Fire Itself and will be releasing on August 27. The band accompanied the announcement by dropping their first single, “In the Night.” This will be the band’s second record release with Solid State Records, after previously being with Artery Records and Red Cord Records. John Cooper Hints New Music
Recently, John Cooper announced to Blabbermouth.net that new music from Skillet will be releasing this year. He said that the songs were born out of COVID and a population questioning their faith during that time. This isn’t Cooper’s only project bouncing off of these ideas.
