Recently it was announced that Grammy Award-nominated rock band P.O.D. will be doing a three-show concert series called Satellite over Southtown in honor of the 20th anniversary of their hit album Satellite. The concerts will be performed at Petco Park from the band’s hometown of San Diego. Tommy Green, former frontman of the band Sleeping Giant, has re-entered the Christian-based metal scene with the debut of his new band Holy Name. Their first single, “Meet Me Somewhere Quiet” is out now. His friend, Joe Holt, is a fellow performer and writer for the band. And Ryan Leitru, from the band Nothing More, produced and mixed the single. ContagionFest Phase 2 has been announced, which is a live-streamed Christian-rock and metal-focused show. There will be a mix of acoustic sets and electric sets from many bands in the Christian-based rock and metal community.
