Petra Announces Upcoming Full-Length Album

Christian Rock pioneers Petra have announced a brand new full-length album, Hope, releasing later this year. The first single from the new album, “Deliver Us,” releases this week.

Petra has been in the studio for several months now, working on a brand new full-length album of all new material with John Schlitt. This new album will be the first album of all new material from the band in over 20 years, since 2003’s Jekyll and Hyde.

The band officially retired with a final live album called Farewell in 2006. The group later reunited to record a new song called “Holy Is Your Name” for their 40th anniversary in 2013. The band’s older lineup, fronted by Greg X.
