After stepping away from music for more than a decade following the end of Among the Thirsty, former frontman Ryan Daniel Cole is returning not to reclaim a platform, but to answer a calling.

On April 3, Cole will release his debut solo single, “Oh What A Day,” a song written more than 10 years ago and left untouched during a deeply personal season marked by brokenness, healing and spiritual renewal.

For Cole, the silence wasn’t accidental it was necessary.

After experiencing both the momentum and the pressures of a charting Christian band, he stepped away from the spotlight carrying wounds that would take years to process. What followed was a quiet, often unseen journey of rebuilding not just as an artist, but as a husband, father and follower of Christ.
