The newest EP from Jason Barrows is out and it’s loaded with great straightforward melodies, especially the opening track “Edge of My Heart.”

Jason, who is the guitarist for Josh Garrels, has been making beautiful solo music for a while, largely in the vein of The War on Drugs, and this takes those hazy rock and roll sentiments and adds some Ryan Adams to the mix. “I don’t wanna live on the edge of my heart like God is a stranger,” he sings atop a killer mid-tempo groove perfect for the upcoming spring season.
