Winners Announced In 63rd Annual Grammy Awards’ Christian Music Categories
On Sunday, March 14, the 63rd annual Grammy Awards aired their ceremony from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California. Although there was no in-person attendance this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was still broadcast on CBS at 8 p.m. (ET). There is a total of 83 categories this year. Winners from the five Christian/Gospel categories were announced before the live telecast. Dolly Parton, the Country music icon who appeared with Zach Williams on the award-winning duet, “There Was Jesus” tweeted “Thank you, Jesus, thank you @ZachWilliams, and thank you to the GRAMMYs and all of our fans. Austin Lyons Of I Am Empire Starts Independent Band
Last year, Austin Lyons of former Tooth & Nail Records band I Am Empire launched a new band called Future Divine. He released his first single with Future Divine in 2020 called “Child of God,” and now he’s back with a brand new seven-track record titled Fully Alive, releasing March 12.
