Becoming a More Kingdom-Minded Man
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. — Paul to the Romans, Romans 12:2 On Friday mornings, I teach men at The Man in the Mirror… The post Becoming a More Kingdom-Minded Man appeared first on FaithGateway.

Forgiveness and Entrusting Justice to God
Revenge builds a lonely house. Space enough for one person. The lives of its tenants are reduced to one goal: make someone miserable. They do. Themselves. No wonder God insists that we “keep a sharp eye out for weeds of bitter discontent. A thistle or two gone to seed can ruin a whole garden in no time” (Hebrews… The post Forgiveness and Entrusting Justice to God appeared first on FaithGateway.

Thankful for the Greatest Gift
Nick Vujicic stood atop a table and faced a room full of mesmerized high school students. Some of them wept silently as they listened to this man who was born with no arms or legs proclaim joyfully, “I love life.”1 If there is anyone who would seem to have a good reason to… The post Thankful for the Greatest Gift appeared first on FaithGateway.

You’re More Loved than you Know
We tend to either think, “I am so bad”, or “God is so good”. It can be easy to go down the “I am so bad” track. I am sinful. I make mistakes. I am not perfect. I don’t have great relationships. I am not ___ enough. I ____ (fill in your own despicable blank). We’ve all thought this way one time or another. Here, we allow the crushing weight of how things seem, overpower the great price Jesus paid for us. We get focused on us when it is all about — HIM! When this happens, we don’t have to stay here. We can consciously break through the static of…

Kutless Guitarist Nate Parish Releases Solo Album
“Wear it low, strum it fast and tell it like it is.” This attitude is at the core of Nate Parrish’s newly released solo album (June 19, 2020). The album, titled I’M A WRECK is 10 songs of straightforward rock reminiscent of classic punk sounds like the Ramones, Social Distortion and MXPX, while also sampling flavors of Americana such as Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash. “I had so much frustration, sorrow and flat out anger built up in my heart, that writing this album has served as a kind of therapy for me”, Nate says, adding, “My approach to writing these songs was to keep the instrumentation simple and the…
