CCM PREMIERE: Melanie Walker Releases Video For ‘In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen, Amen’

‘In Jesus’ Name, We Pray, Amen, Amen, sung by Melanie Walker,’ takes us back to a time when families prayed together and gathered to play music on the porch. Church was where friends became family, singing songs of praise and prayer was a reprieve from life’s burdens, and lives were changed when we prayed in Jesus’ name.

 

The music track, In Jesus Name We Pray Amen Amen, was produced by Grand Ole Opry Member Mandy Barnett, who in her own right is known as one of the premier country music voices of our time and one of Nashville’s enduring musical treasures. This classic and timeless sound is something that Melanie and Mandy share an affection for. Walker’s pure and undeniable country tone laced with this vibrant, foot-tapping, Bible-focused, sing-along song will remind people of the power of Jesus Christ.

Written by Daniel Johnson, Carl Ray Williams, and Wood Newton, these three writers have penned a song for the ages. Newton himself is known for writing such hits as “Bobbie Sue” for the Oak Ridge Boys, “Riding Private Malone” for David Ball, and “Twenty Years Ago” for Kenny Rogers, to name a few.
