CCM: If you had only five words to describe your new album, it would be…?
Jessica:
Simple worship and free praise.

CCM: Do you have a favorite song from the new album? Why?
Jessica: I’ll never leave you, because Jesus is the only one who’ll never disappoint and never leave us.

CCM: What led you to pursue a career or ministry in music?
Jessica: The love for worship. I was singing circular songs and turned into Christian contemporary music. I found out that only worship songs can really touch a heart.

CCM: What are your hopes for the new project?
Jessica: That it will reach people and touch their hearts, letting them know that there’s a God who cares and is knocking on each and every one us’ hearts.

CCM: Name a song that you wish you’d written (and why).
Jessica: Hillsong’s “So Will”
It explains how mighty He is in the simplest way.

CCM: How did you arrive at the name of your new album?
Jessica: It’s the title of the first single I wrote. The song was inspired by a dream that I had. In that dream I saw God’s heart as it fed and gave life to a tree which signified His people. The people that accepted Him flourished and grew, and in the dream the branches extended as this happened. We as the body of Christ, are all connected to each other as branches in the tree.

CCM: Who are your biggest musical influences?
Jessica: Kari Jobes, Lauren Daigle, Bethel, Hillsong

CCM: What message do you hope listeners will take away from your music, regardless of what they believe?
Jessica: It doesn’t matter what state our life is in we can always be restored by God, just as a tree blossoms after a long winter.
