Jason Nelson, best-known for his No. 1 gospel ballads “Shifting the Atmosphere” and “Forever,” is showcasing another dimension to his immense talent on the smooth, mid-tempo track, “Residue” (Tyscot FairTrade). Dueling guitars including Nelson on Bass open this R&B-flavored groove about a bright future with no residue of a dark past. “The blind mark on my soul has been erased,” Nelson testifies.
