Kelly Alayna, Formerly of Cori & Kelly, Embarks on a New Solo Career

After a decade of spirit-filled music ministry as part of the dynamic female worship duo Cori & Kelly, Kelly Alayna has announced the launch of her solo career. The decision to pursue individual callings comes following the heartfelt closing of the chapter with Cori & Kelly in April.

During the months of transition, Kelly embarked on a profound journey of soul-searching and prayer, seeking divine guidance for her next steps. Her dedication to this introspective process led her to pour her heart into the creation of new music and master the art of music production.

Kelly Alayna has recently unveiled two soul-stirring singles, “For My Good” and “Whisper A Prayer,” both of which showcase her profound connection to spirituality and a deepening of her personal faith. The singles provide a glimpse into Kelly’s solo journey and serve as a testament to her growth as an artist.

“For My Good,” inspired by Romans 8:28, reflects Kelly’s hope and trust in God’s overarching plan, even when circumstances seem unclear. The song serves as a powerful reminder that, despite the challenges faced, God works things out according to His purpose and plans.

 

On the other hand, “Whisper A Prayer”  is a poignant composition that originated from a place of deep despair. The song captures the essence of Kelly’s plea to God in a moment of hopelessness and serves as a testimony that, even in the quietest whispers, God listens and responds.

 

Kelly Alayna’s commitment to her craft is evident not only in her emotive lyrics but also in her venture into music production. As she continues to explore this new chapter of her career, a third single, produced by Walter Halliwell, is scheduled for release to Christian radio in January.
