Rhett Walker Releases New Single

In an exclusive interview, Rhett Walker told NRT that he wrote his new song “’87 Chevy” as a reflection on his life as viewed through the windshield of his ’87 Chevy truck. Being born in ’87 as well, he also makes the parallel of viewing life through the windshield of his own eyes. So much life happened in that truck dating his wife April, bringing babies home, and conversations with God.

Walker shares, “I wrote this song kinda for me. There are some songs you write for your career, there are some songs you write for church, there are some songs you write for specific things… I feel like I wrote this song for me.”
