Can a song save a life? Sarah Vienna, singer-songwriter, speaker and human rights advocate believes so. Growing up the youngest of seven girls in Northern California, Sarah has spent the last 15 years living in Brasov, Romania, where her experiences with children motivated her to found and fund a non-profit to rescue orphans, and to use her musical aptitude to write songs that champion the importance of every human life. After a recent tour of a pregnancy resource center in Pennsylvania, Sarah was inspired to write a moving and powerful song from the perspective of a baby in a mother’s womb. That song is called, “I’m Alive,” and an acoustic performance of the song is included as a part of this one-on-one conversation with Sarah Vienna.
