Shawn Mendes Encounters Jesus Through A Maverick City Song

Recently in an interview with Man Enough podcast, pop icon Shawn Mendes talked about encountering Jesus through a Maverick City Music song. He shared that he grew up as an atheist but is starting to encounter God through music.

“I grew up more or less atheist, and now I’m becoming much more spiritual,” Shawn said. “I was watching Maverick City singing about Jesus, and I just started crying my eyes out.

He went on to say that he grew up believing that Jesus was “fanatic, not science, and not the truth.” And now it “feels like home because of this song.”
