Anne Wilson’s First Headlining Tour Makes Waves in Virginia Beach, VA October 7, 2023 with Opener Josh Baldwin

Anne Wilson, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter, brought her first-ever headlining tour, The My Jesus Tour, to a sold-out Spring Branch Community Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia with special guest Josh Baldwin on October 7, 2023. Hot off the presses, Anne sang three new songs “Rebel,” Christian radio single “Strong,” and Country radio single “Rain In The Rearview” along with so many others including “My Jesus” which has been recently RIAA certified PLATINUM.
Starting the night off with a time of worship GOLD-certified singer-songwriter and worship leader Baldwin brought encouragement and hope to the packed sanctuary. Josh joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2014, and has written incredible songs of worship and pointed others to Christ for three decades.
Anne Wilson seemed right at home on stage for her first headlining tour, and often interacted with those in the audience including her young fans fondly referred to as “Hey Girl Nation.” She sang many favorites including “My Jesus,” “Hey Girl,” “Sunday Sermons,” and “Scatter.” Her new songs collectively titled “REBEL (The Beginning)” encouraged the packed crowd to look to Jesus and never give up hope even in the middle of suffering and chaotic times. As she starts to merge Christian and Country genres, Anne has said, “My faith is not going anywhere in the new music. I do this for Jesus, not for any other reason. But I know that in order to reach the world, you have to step into a bigger market. It’s the heart of Christian Music, the sound of Country … and the hope of Jesus. I hope it all points back to Him.”
