    Francesca Battistelli Teases New Songs

April 29, 2026 / Comments Off on Francesca Battistelli Teases New Songs

Contemporary Christian artist Francesca Battistelli teased new music in her fan newsletter, which she sent out on April 16. She has not pursued music full-time for years, choosing to focus on her faith, her marriage, and her children. Although she was featured on fellow contemporary artist Natalie Layne’s “All Joy” in 2025, her last fully original song was “God Is Good” in 2021. She hasn’t toured since 2019, making only occasional appearances, such as surprising fans at Brandon Heath’s “Opry Country Christmas” set and co-hosting and performing on GMA’s “Let Us Adore Him, A Christmas Celebration.” Although Battistelli has not specified what we should expect, her newsletter comments strongly indicate…

3 Y2K Hitmakers Just Dropped Christian Music

April 28, 2026 / Comments Off on 3 Y2K Hitmakers Just Dropped Christian Music

You may want to go check your MySpace page, because this feels like a glitch you can only blame on a sketchy Limewire download. In a time where people keep talking about revival, Millennials have a reason to rejoice as we just got something nobody had on their 2026 bingo card: three very Y2K-era hitmakers—Papa Roach, M.I.A., and Jason Mraz—all releasing Christian-leaning music in the same week. We’ve seen crossover before. Country and Christian have always shared DNA—think Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, gospel roots running through everything from front porch hymns to arena tours. Even today, artists like Brandon Lake are collaborating across genres with names like Jelly Roll and…

    How to Cultivate Your Calling

April 28, 2026 / Comments Off on How to Cultivate Your Calling

Bored, and not sold on AI, I tested it. Would it be real and honest? Underneath it all, I suppose I wanted an answer to the question — “Are you, AI, a generic online tool or is there more spiritually to you?” I can’t say I have the answer to this question, but what I came to was mind-blowing! I asked it: “If you were the most evil force in the world and you wanted to break people’s hope, sense of belief, and faith, what would you do?” It replied: “1. I would destroy trust in anyone and anything. 2. I would wear people down with inescapable futility. 3. I…

Bailey Thompson Steps into Reflective Worship

April 27, 2026 / Comments Off on Bailey Thompson Steps into Reflective Worship

Bailey Thompson unveils her newest single, “Threshing Floor,” a deeply personal and spiritually rich release that marks a clear pivot from her signature honest pop sound into a more reflective, worship-driven expression. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by a season of personal refining, the song invites listeners into a posture of surrender, trust, and patient faith in God’s timing. Inspired by a woman’s Bible study on the book of Ruth, “Threshing Floor” centers on the powerful image of Ruth waiting at Boaz’s feet–an act of quiet faith and bold surrender. That moment became the foundation for the song’s message, capturing what it means to lay down striving and remain faithful…

Benjamin William Hastings and Aodhan King Announce New Album

April 27, 2026 / Comments Off on Benjamin William Hastings and Aodhan King Announce New Album

Award-winning worship leaders and songwriters Aodhán King and Benjamin William Hastings officially announce their collaborative project, Happy To Be Here, born out of a 10-day writing and recording session between the longtime friends. Today, they released the second song, “Saturday,” from the anticipated project. Listen to the new track and pre-save the album ahead of its May 29 release (Anotherland/Capitol CMG). “Saturday” lives in the in-between. It is the quiet, uncertain day between the cross and the resurrection. The song captures the tension of trusting God when nothing seems to be happening. It reflects the space between the worst thing that’s ever happened and the best yet to come, a…

Gaither at 90: I Don’t Sing Old Songs. I Sing Songs That Deserve to Live

April 25, 2026 / Comments Off on Gaither at 90: I Don’t Sing Old Songs. I Sing Songs That Deserve to Live

Early in my chat with Bill Gaither, he jokes about aging alongside his audience. Because as he turns 90, he’s celebrating something far rarer in the music business. The longevity of the mission. This interview, tied to his Homecoming celebration and the new I Go to the Rock release, is about understanding why his songs, and his audience, never left. Below are some of the most powerful moments from our conversation. I encourage everyone to watch the full half hour interview to learn more about one of Christian music’s hero.   Q&A Highlights: Bill Gaither in His Own Words On reaching 90 and seeing generations still show up… Bill Gaither: “Well, I’m glad they,…
