P.O.D. Announces Concert Live Stream Series
Recently it was announced that Grammy Award-nominated rock band P.O.D. will be doing a three-show concert series called Satellite over Southtown in honor of the 20th anniversary of their hit album Satellite. The concerts will be performed at Petco Park from the band’s hometown of San Diego. The band will be playing songs from their album Satellite from front-to-back on May 13, songs from their album The Fundamental Elements of Southtown front-to-back on May 27, and other B-sides, rarities, and hits on June 10. Blanca Releases New Music Video
Nashville, Tenn. Today Curb Word Entertainment powerhouse vocalist Blanca released the official music video for her song “Papi Song (feat. Genio),” from her recently released album Renovada. You can watch the video here. “Papi Song (feat. Genio)” honors Blanca’s late father, Tonito Reyes, who was a Christian Salsero in Puerto Rico. Reyes passed away in 2011, but his daughter hopes this song will allow his music and his memory to live on. Tommy Green Starts New Christian Metal Band
Tommy Green, former frontman of the band Sleeping Giant, has re-entered the Christian-based metal scene with the debut of his new band Holy Name. Their first single, “Meet Me Somewhere Quiet” is out now. His friend, Joe Holt, is a fellow performer and writer for the band. And Ryan Leitru, from the band Nothing More, produced and mixed the single. ContagionFest Phase 2 Announced
ContagionFest Phase 2 has been announced, which is a live-streamed Christian-rock and metal-focused show. There will be a mix of acoustic sets and electric sets from many bands in the Christian-based rock and metal community. The two-day show is free and will be hosted by IChristianRock and on their YouTube channel. The first day of the concert will take place on April 23, and the second day will be on April 24. Recently, Hulvey opened up to This Is Me TV in their latest documentary, Where Do I Belong, which premiered this week on YouTube. Creation Festival Postponed Until June 2022
