Andy Mineo Departs from Major Label
On Tuesday, June 24, Andy Mineo officially announced his departure from Reach Records. Mineo signed with the label, founded by Ben Washer and Lecrae, in 2011. His first album under Reach was titled, Formerly Known. Mineo first gained popularity on Lecrae’s song “Background” from the project Rehab in 2010. Mineo will operate as an independent artist under his own label, Miner League. Currently, Mineo is working with Wordsplayed on the mixtape sequel to Magic & Bird.
